I never knew this much of history is associated with Niagara falls. All I knew was that its one of worlds major tourist attraction. Thanks for writing about its history and prominence in the world.

Niagara Falls does not freeze very often, I believe the last time was in 1911. Google “Frozen Niagara Falls” to see some amazing photos of it frozen.
